A Connected Workflow for Your Finance Business

Use information already recorded in your loan book to support assessments, keep accounts aligned and help your team take the next step.

DCC Credit Assessment and Debt Recovery Automation

Bring bureau information into lending decisions and keep recovery work connected to current borrower, loan and repayment records.

Credit assessment before you lend

When DCC checks are enabled, LoanMasta can screen a customer during registration and assess a proposed repayment during the loan application process. Your team can consider available bureau information alongside the customer's application.

Registration screening

Compare the customer's DCC benchmark score with your configured minimum. A score below that threshold can hold registration for manual review. A customer with no bureau record is identified as such, so staff can distinguish missing history from an adverse result.

Affordability and existing commitments

Assess the proposed repayment against available income evidence and debt commitments reported through DCC. Debt-service indicators and loan-stacking signals help staff identify customers whose commitments may already be too high. Your configured rules determine how these results affect the application.

Updated supporting information

With borrower consent, connected records can include profile details, loans, repayments and supporting documents such as payslips. Updates and corrections keep the bureau feed aligned with the source records, reducing repeated data entry and helping reviewers work with more recent evidence.

Debt recovery with a shared case history

LoanMasta brings eligible overdue accounts into a recovery workflow using your configured criteria, including days in default and outstanding balances. Staff can review the debt, prepare recovery documents and record follow-up outcomes.

Keep recovery cases aligned

For connected cases, DCC manages the recovery case status and LoanMasta displays the synchronised status, assigned officer, notes and next follow-up. Repayment updates help recovery teams see changes in the underlying debt.

Prepare correspondence and track responses

Generate recovery lists and demand documents from recorded loan information. Staff can record responses, promised amounts and dates, and use exports to coordinate follow-up work without rebuilding the same list in a spreadsheet.

Check the case before a demand is sent

For an already-linked DCC case, LoanMasta checks the current case status before sending a demand. Cases on hold, disputed, closed, under legal handling or in an arrangement block that send, as does an unavailable current status.

A typical workflow

A customer applies for a loan. Staff review DCC screening and affordability results alongside the application. If a funded loan later meets your recovery criteria, the team can review its case, prepare correspondence and record the outcome. Subsequent repayment changes flow through the connection to support the next review.

DCC assessment and recovery features require an active connection, the relevant enabled services and your business's configured policies. The information available depends on consent and the records held by the connected services.

BUKMASTA Automated Accounting

Turn recorded lending activity into accounting events and give your finance team a way to compare the loan book with the accounting ledger.

Record a transaction once

When your BUKMASTA connection is enabled, supported changes in LoanMasta create accounting events for delivery to BUKMASTA. BUKMASTA uses the account mappings configured for your business to determine the accounting entries.

Cover the lending lifecycle

Supported event types include loan funding, interest, repayments, default interest, refunds, write-offs, recoveries and balance adjustments. Controls let your business choose which categories to send and how payment channels such as payroll, bank deposits and cash are treated.

Handle corrections and delivery failures

When a previously recorded event changes, the integration can queue a reversal and a replacement version. Pending or failed deliveries remain visible for review and retry. Issues such as an unmapped account or a locked accounting period can be addressed before delivery is retried.

Reconcile the two systems

Compare relevant balances in LoanMasta and BUKMASTA, including principal owed, customer overpayments and refinance clearing. Interest receivable is included when accrual recognition is selected. Differences and waiting events help your accountant identify what needs investigation.

AI Assistance

Help staff understand workflows, review available information, prepare drafts and process returned documents with less manual effort.

Guidance across your workflows

Smart Assistant can help with onboarding, applications, approval and funding steps, refinance, repayments, payroll, documents, recovery, reporting and support.

Staff can ask how to complete a task or what to review next. Where available, answers use the business information the staff member is permitted to access and the policy references configured for the service.

Loan and recovery assistance

Use permitted loan balances, repayment history, arrears and recovery information to help explain an account's position and organise a follow-up plan.

The assistant can prepare reminder or demand drafts for staff review and help identify missing evidence or changes in affordability. Staff check the facts, choose the action and send approved correspondence through the normal workflow.

Returned-form processing

When document AI is enabled, uploaded application documents can be read to extract information for review, reducing the amount staff need to type from returned forms.

Staff check extracted values against the original documents, correct uncertain readings and complete the review before applying the information. Document reading and conversational assistance can be configured separately.

Questions your team can ask

  • “Explain this loan's arrears using the information available to me.”
  • “What should I check before processing these returned application forms?”
  • “Draft a respectful repayment reminder for me to review.”
  • “Help me plan the next follow-up for this recovery case.”

Your team remains in control

Smart Assistant provides read-only guidance: it does not approve loans, move money, edit records or send messages. Access follows staff permissions. Administrators configure AI availability, usage limits and budgets, and can review recorded usage and charges.
